Iranian Kids Praised at Bulgarian Contest

Tehran, July 31, 2011: Iranian children have been praised at the 2011 edition of Nova Zagora International Children+s Art Exhibition, held in southeastern Bulgaria.
Marzieh Ahmadi, Zahra Qezelsofla, Zeinab Kianinejad, Fatemeh Pourali, Sana Hosseinabadi, Sina Mozouni, Fatemeh Mohammadi, Fatemeh Khosravi, Hadis Rezaei, Ali Mesbah and Mana Mohammadpour received the honorary diplomas of Nova Zagora 2011.
Some 15 Iranian works took part in the event, all created by members of the country+s Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA) from different provinces.
Bulgaria+s 13th Nova Zagora International Children+s Art Exhibition presented 2,048 works from 25 countries, presstv.com reported.
The IIDCYA has branches all over Iran, providing schoolchildren, teachers and parents with a wide range of cultural products such as books, audio tapes, films and toys.
Established in 1961, the institute also organizes festivals, discussion panels, contests and conferences for and about children and young adults.
