Tehran, August 8, 2011: Isfahan is slated to mount an exhibition at the INWETEX-CIS Travel Market Fair in the Russian city of St. Petersburg to introduce the Iranian city+s cultural capacities and its ancient arts.
Russian Consul General in Isfahan Ali Mostafa Billy met Isfahan Governor General Alireza Zaker Isfahani on Saturday and invited Iran to the St. Petersburg International Travel Market, IRNA reported.

“Isfahan is ready to participate and this is a good opportunity to display Isfahan+s various arts and handicrafts and present the high potential of the city,†said Zaker Isfahani.
Holding such cultural events in different countries can modify the understanding of Iranian culture and the image of Iran which has been distorted by western media, he added.
