Bel Canto to perform Italian operas in Tehran

The orchestra performed a selection of best-loved Italian operas under the baton of conductor Nima Panahiha at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall in December 2016.

In its recent statement, the Iranian ensemble said that despite the depreciation of the rial, Bel Canto would not raise the ticket price for the concert titled “Italian Opera”.

Coloratura soprano singer Anahita Hosseinzadeh and mezzo-soprano singer Bettina Hovsepian will accompany the orchestra during the performance.
