Tehran Symphony Orchestra dedicates performance to Team Melli

The Tehran Symphony Orchestra by conductor Shahrdad Rohani dedicated a performance to Iran national football team Team Melli on its Thursday concert at Vahdat Hall.

Pointing to the hard efforts made by the Iranian national football team at the AFC Asian Cup competition, Rohani said, “Football is teamwork. Team Melli was excellent but lost as a result of negligence,” the Rudaki Foundation announced on Friday.

Iran lost to Japan 3-0 in the AFC Asian Cup semi-final on January 28.

The orchestra gave its second performance on Friday.
