Th Museum of Contemporary Art established in 1977 is among the largest museums in Iran. It is one of the greatest collections of Iranian modern and contemporary art holding about 4ooo remarkable artworks of great Iranian, European, and American artists. Though it was not open to the public for many years, now it welcomes every art lover or tourist who travels to Iran.
