Tabriz clock tower also known as Tabriz Municipality Palace is the city hall and main office of the municipal government of Tabriz, East Azarbaijan Province. In recent years parts of the building is reorganized as municipality museum of Tabriz.
The idea of launching a unique museum has been formed in the minds of the Sarabi brothers since 25 years ago. The eyes of the two, in the old houses of the old villages of Azerbaijan, in the historic market of Tabriz.
The earliest inscription about Tabriz, referring to the city as Tarui or Tauris, is on the Assyrian King Sargon II's epigraph in 714 BC. Tabriz has been chosen as the capital for some rulers commencing from Atropates era and his dynasty.
