Hasan Abad (Hassanabad) is an old and historical area within the Monirie District of Tehran. There is also a famous square in the area which carries the same name. The area was originally developed during the reign of the Qajar Dynasty.
Over the past years, Tehran’s Vali-e Asr Street, famed as the longest in West Asia, has undergone countless maintenance works as a prerequisite for a possible UNESCO registration.
A 500-square meter storehouse went on fire in Tehran's historic square of Hassanabad on Wednesday night. The fire spread to other areas but it was put out by the fire brigade. Hasanabad is a Qajar Dynasty area within the Monirie District of Tehran.
