Tang-e-Takab Inscriptions

Related to Behbahan city (Khuzestan Province)
The same is located at a distance of 9 km. north of Behbahan. Not far from the entrance of the gorge, there are a few inscriptions in simple Nasta'liq script engraved on rocks. The first inscription is four-sided and reveals the endeavours of the Behbahan governor (ruler) during the reign of Naseredin Shah. The other inscription is triangular in shape and designates the method of cultivation of the lotus flower in the outskirts of the city and a few other areas.
