The huge amount of active sand hills without any plants have covered a vast area. All Rig-e Jenn is covered with lots of wind-blown sand and salty alluvium from Alborz mountains.

Rig-e Jenn

Situated in the center of Dasht-e Kavir, central Iran, Rig-e Jenn is one of the least-explored deserts in Iran. Locals still believe that the area is haunted by evil spirits or jinns.

Semnan is located 216 kilometers east of Tehran in north central Iran. It is home to Semnani languages and is known as Seman locally.
