The Lipar Pink Lagoon is a saltwater lake that covers an area of approximately 5 square kilometers. The lake is shallow, with an average depth of only about one meter, and is fed by a series of underground springs.
The pink wetland of Lipar is located just 200 meters from the northern edge of the Sea of Oman and south of Lipaar village near Chabahar, in Sistan va Baluchestan province.
