Bondar Abad Village (Bondorabad) is situated 37 kilometers north of Yazd and 7km to the Yazd
Road. It has a warm and dry climate. Its historical significance arises from Sheikh Taqi Allauddin Dada, the gnostic of the 7th century AH., who founded the mosque and monastery in Bondar-Abad for his followers.
This gnostic passed away in the year 700 AH. He was originally buried in his monastery, but a few days later his corps was transferred to Yazd
