Also known as: Bijar Ski Resort, Nisar Ski resort

Nesar ski resort (Bijar Ski Resort) located in Kordestan province (Kurdistan) 147km (About 2 hours) away from Sanandaj city, exactly inside the Bijar city, at the end of Taleqani street on the foot hills of Nesar mountain in Zagros Mountain range. Nesar ski resort equipped with 1300m long chair lift and 900m vertical drop has open since 2009.

This tiny resort runs a few lifts up the side of Nesar Kuh (Mt. Nesar) when there's enough snow cover. Fridays in winter are best, though you can also grass-ski here in summer. All gear can be hired on site.

Nesar ski resort has one of the best grass ski runs ,330m long for does who loves skiing even in summer. The highest point of the resort located at an altitude of 2300m from the sea level, while the lowest point located at an altitude of 2000m from the sea level.

It’s about 112 Hectares and to name its facilities one can say ploughing machine, Tele siege, grass skiing pist (grasski), parking restaurant and skiing school. The length of the pist reaches 900m and the width reaches 120m.

You can rent all kinds of ski wears and equipment inside and moreover you can participate in ski school inside the Nesar ski resort. In ski season its open all 7 week days.
