Tasuj Grand Mosque near Shabestar - East Azerbaijan
Jameh Mosque of Tasooj or Tasuj Grand Mosque is one of the ancient religious relics in Tasuj City (near Shabestar in East Azerbaijan Province). This mosque has 24 pillars and 35 brick arches. On its entrance there is a stone on which an inscription with 'Tholth' script has been written which belongs to 10th century AH. of Timurid era.

The mosque has included an open vault dome to adduct the congregational prayer in special days specifically religious holidays, mausoleum basement, six chambers for students and a garden in south of mosque.
In fact, this complex is a part of historic square of Tasuj which includes two bazaars that ends in this square, bath and the square itself that this complex is placed in it.
