Robat Sharaf Caravanserai or Castle is located between Mashad and Sarakhs and is 6 km. south of "Shorlaqaa". This piece of architecture stands from the time of the Saljuqi period. From its facade its much "Castle-like" and powerful, but the inside view has more resemblance to a palace.
This structure contains two courtyards and each courtyard contains four cross shaped terraces along with Shabestan. Fine pieces of architecture with brick works can be noted besides inscriptions that prove to be eye-catching.
