Tochal Ski Resort is one of the most famous ski center in Iran, it is the closeset resort to capital city and because of its neighbourhood to Tehran it is very popular with the single daytrip skiers.
Tochal slope being 3,500m above sea-level is located in the fifth station of Tochal Tele Cabin. At the end of this station there are also many restaurants and resting facilities.

For skiing and snowboarding, there are 6 km of slopes available. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,910 and 3,850m. This resort has a gondola (telecabin) lift about 7.5 Km long which is one of the longest in the world. It takes about 50 minutes to go from the first station to the last station by car cable.
There is a nice hotel called Tochal Hotel at the base of the resort at 3550m, with 30 rooms and suites. Depending on the climate and the amount of snowfall, the season usually starts in November and lasts until April or even June.
