Zanjan province has suitable vegetation regarding pasture. The vicinity of Chaman Soltanieh is one of the most noted here. Unfortunately this province does not have dense forests and its forestry areas are sparsely covered or are made up of manually planted trees. In the areas of Tarom-e-Oliya (Upper Tarom) and Tarom-e-Sofiya (Lower Tarom) and to a part of the south of Alborz Mountains, the poor vegetation can be observed. A few species of trees such as chestnut, almond, pistachio, wild walnuts, and olives can be said to be seen here, besides others.
